The March 24, 2001 meeting of Amtgard, Inc. Board of Directors was opened at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Park by Sir Aramithris, President of the Board.

The minutes of the February 24, 2001 will be read and submitted for approval at the next scheduled meeting of the Board to be held in April, 2001.

I. President=s Report: Sir Aramithris

  1. It was reported that although the 1999 Amtgard, Inc. Board erroneously granted permission to Mystic Seas to host the 2001 Olympiad, contrary to the agreed upon and published schedule, the year 2002 Olympiad is scheduled to be held at Clan 20. Sir Aramithris was confirmed as autocrat of Olympiad 2002. It was noted that Mystic Seas is in no way responsible or accountable for the 1999 Board=s unauthorized reassignment of hosting kingdom for the 2001 Olympiad.
  2. Sir Aramithris verified that Sir Raphael has prepared a Clan 19 Web site, and that Sir Raphael will continue to post updates on the event as they become known... any other so-called Clan 19 postings have no official validity. The tentative Clan 19 schedule will be posted by Sir Raphael.
  3. Contracts from Darkenwolfmeier, Purgatory Paradise and Steel City were presented for approval and signatures. Likewise, contracts received from Twin Lakes and Concordia were given final signature approval. Sir Raphael will continue to locate, via the net, a mailing address for Concordia.
  4. Sir Aramithris also reported that copies of the original contracts for Mordengard, Wetlands, Emerald Hills and Celestial Kingdom have been located by Sir Crinos and Dame Kayrana and will be forwarded to the Board for the permanent records.

II. Secretary-Treasurer=s Report: Dame Gwynne

  1. Status of bank statements as of 01/31/01 was reported to the Board and is made a part of these minutes.
  2. The resolutions deleting Sir Trinity=s name and adding Sir Raphael=s name on the signatory sheets for Bank of America and Wells Fargo were signed by all Board members. Dame Gwynne will secure the necessary forms from both banks.

III. Prime Minister=s Report: Sir Aramithris

      1. All kingdom records being current, Sir Aramithris informed the Board that all necessary forms and ballots were in place for the upcoming Crown elections.
      2. It was also confirmed that Crown Qualifications will be held on April 14th and Crown elections on April 21st. In addition, Crown Qualification gaming events will be held at the abode of Sir Aramithris and Dame Gwynne, 2310 Pittsburg, El Paso, TX 79930 on the evening of Saturday, April 7th and Friday evening, April 13th... estimated starting time is 7:00 p.m. Traditional card playing competitions will be held as well as a role playing test.
      3. As Guildmaster of Reeves and Crown Qualifications Autocrat, Sir Aramithris reported that Three (3) reeves tests would be presented for those wishing to qualify. A heraldry test and Corpora test are also available to those wishing to take them.
      4. The date for Weaponmaster is not yet set, but will be scheduled after April 7th, 2001. All individuals desirous of entering should contact Sir Aramithris.

IV Clan 19:
      1. Squire Wovoka reported that all necessary qualification forms for all med-tent personnel will be given to the Clan 19 autocrats for submission to the proper authorities in the near future. Countess Mezzie also reported that the required Amtgard medical releases have been updated and will be made available well in advance of Clan 19. Wovoka will also present the Monarchy with an exact list and cost of supplies/equipment necessary to properly stock the med-tent for Clan 19 by the next scheduled Board meeting.
      2. Dame Gwynne will provide Sir Raphael with all necessary information regarding sources for Clan 19 t-shirts and favors.

  1. Other Business: Earl Flagg announced that the annual Celtic Festival will be held during the last weekend in September, 2001. He will liaison in Amtgard=s behalf with the festival planners regarding Amtgard=s possible participation in the festival.
  2. Adjournment: There being no other business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 4:05 p.m. The next scheduled meeting will be Saturday, April 21, 2001 at 3:00 p.m.
