International Board of Directors Meeting
May 12, 2001

Absent Board Members:The April 21, 2001 meeting of Amtgard, Inc. Board of Directors was opened at 7:55 p.m. at 2310 Pittsburg, El Paso, Texas by Sir Aramithris, President of the Board.
The minutes of the April 21, 2001 minutes were read and approved as written by unanimous consent.
I. President=s Report: Sir Aramithris
A. Lost Mordrock contract has been received and approved by the Board.
B. Countess Mezzie has produced and provided the kingdom with 1,000 copies of the Clan 19 Medical Release and Youth Indemnity forms.
C. Since the last Board meeting, six contracts have been received and approved.
D. Sir Raphael has been provided with all the history of Weaponmaster and Qualification results. Sir Raphael will also be given the minutes of the minutes of the last four Board meetings in order to post them to the web. Dame Gwynne will convert the said minutes to a suitable format for publication.
E. In response to a query from another group, and after discussion, the Board concurred that any group wishing to remove existing elected officers must do so in strict adherence to the existing conditions of the Corpora.
II. Secretary-Treasurer=s Report: Dame Gwynne
F. Status of bank statements as of 4/30/01 was reported to the Board and is made a part of these minutes.
G. Signature change forms for the kingdom bank account at Bank of America have been processed and returned to the bank. The signature change forms for the remaining account are in process.
III. Prime Minister=s Report: Sir Aramithris
A0 Sir Aramithris, in his position of Prime Minister and with the Board=s approval, granted Dame Gwynne dues credit in lieu of reimbursement of funds expended on the kingdom=s business.
New Groups: Sir Bolt
<B0 Sir Bolt reported that he is in contact with Goldenvale regarding fourteen missing contracts being sought for the Board=s archives.
C0 After discussion by the Board, it was agreed that Rising Winds group status will be reevaluated at Clan 20.
H Other Business:
A0 The Board reiterated that, per the schedule repeatedly provided in past Board minutes, Sir Aramithris is the autocrat of Clan 20 and Olympiad 10. These events will be held concurrently.
B0 Regarding Clan 19 medical services provided by Squire Wovoka, Vanal and Sespah: The Board upon being informed that the temporary New Mexico paramedical certifications being secured, was being done only in the interests of the Club specifically for Clan 19, and of no personal benefit. A motion was made and seconded to reimburse all three individuals for the certification fees. The motion passed by unanimous consent. It was noted that said fees would be approximately $120.00.
C0 Dame Gwynne and Sir Bolt are researching availability and cost for additional shelters for official Clan 19 events. Results will be reported at the next scheduled Board meeting. Dame Gwynne is also looking for provisions for an adequate lighting system for Clan events occurring at night.
D0 Dame Kayrana has been approached and has agreed to the duties of gate autocrat at Clan 19. The Board expressed its appreciation for Dame Kayrana=s willingness to accept the responsibility of this position. Countess Mezzie will provide the necessary equipment to Dame Kayrana. Dame Gwynne will coordinate fund security with Dame Kayrana.
I Adjournment: There being no other business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m. The next scheduled meeting will be Saturday, June 16, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. at the park or at 2310 Pittsburg depending on weather conditions.
