Ad Hoc International Board of Directors Meeting
September 9, 2001

Absent Board Members:The September 9, 2001 ad hoc meeting of Amtgard, Inc. Board of Directors was opened at 6:35 p.m. at 2310 Pittsburg, El Paso, Texas by Sir Aramithris, President of the Board.
I. President’s Report: Sir Aramithris
Recent email, copy of Wetland’s Corpora and a copy of Wetland’s Contract were presented as items for discussion regarding the recent 10 knighthoods granted by the Wetland’s guildmaster of knights without the final decision made by the monarch of Wetlands. The issue brought to the Amtgard, Inc. Board of Directors is the blatant alteration of knighting criteria, knighting procedures, Corpora and Contract.
After discussion, a motion was made by Prime Minister, Earl Flagg, that inasmuch that Wetlands has, by Contract, violated the Corpora and their signed Contract (copies of which are attached as part of these minutes), that Amtgard, Inc., The Kingdom of the Burning Lands, holder of the copyright on the Corpora and Rules of play, does hereby declare that Wetlands is in violation of both documents, and has one (1) week from the date of this meeting to return to the system by which the circle of knights advises (only) their current monarch of their opinions of candidates for knights, and then it is the prerogative and privilege of said monarch to make the decision whether to grant or withhold knighthood to any individual. The motion was seconded by His Majesty Raphael and Sir Bolt. The motion passed by unanimous decision.
Wetlands monarchy may respond to this ruling via post to Amtgard, Inc., 2310 Pittsburg, El Paso, TX 79930 or to His Majesty, Sir Raphael at by 7:00 p.m. mountain time, September 15, 2001. Failure to respond or comply will result in automatic cancellation of the Wetland’s Contract, use of the Amtgard, Inc. Rules of Play, Corpora, and their use of the Amtgard name. His Majesty, Sir Raphael will post these minutes to the Amtgard Monarch’s List and to contacts in the Wetlands.
In response to Her Majesty Esuom’s request that The Kingdom of the Burning Lands ban from Amtgard events that individual named in her request by reason of his assault on other Amtgard members. The Board agreed that her Majesty should be applauded for her candid appeal and honesty, and be reassured that The Kingdom of the Burning Lands will here forth ban said individual from all Burning Lands events, to include all future Clan events. Also the Amtgard, Inc. Board of Directors will research legal options it has to barring such individuals from all of Amtgard. Be it known, that Burning Lands encourages all kingdoms to follow the lead of the Celestial Kingdom and The Kingdom of the Burning lands to endorse the ban on this individual to all their local events.
Adjournment: There being no other business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p.m. The next Board meeting is scheduled for September 29, 2001.
